John Deere Distribution Network System (DNS) - Global Parts Service The John Deere parts service sets the standard for the agricultural and groundscare industries. Its success is driven by our global Distribution Network System (DNS). Any dealer can check for parts availability worldwide using DNS, with access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This computerised system automatically checks the stock at the John Deere UK parts depot in Langar, Nottingham. If the required part is not available here, then the FLASH (Fast Locating And Special Handling) system takes over, sending the request in sequence worldwide until it locates the stock. Once the dealer confirms the order, both picking and shipping documents are raised within seconds.
All 200 John Deere agricultural and groundscare dealers in the UK and Ireland are connected by DNS to our global parts network. The UK parts depot carries 38,000 part numbers in a 70,000ft2 warehouse (pictured below). This is supported by our main European Parts Distribution Centre in Bruchsal, Germany, which holds 150,000 active part numbers. Both these operations are in turn supported by our international source depot in Moline, Illinois, USA, which covers 44 acres and stocks 300,000 lines
